Plenty of good seats available at Ford Field! Looks like we'll be playing in a familiar place: in front of a lot of empty seats.

We need all the support we can get, even if some are unable to clap and cheer. :) ;)

Preview: http://tulanegreenwave.com/news/2017/11 ... urday.aspx
Tulane is 5-1 in 2017 and 7-1 under head coach Willie Fritz when leading at halftime.
The game can also be streamed online if you don't get CBS Sports Network, or have cut the cable.

It's an exciting gameday!

It will be very interesting to monitor the mood on this forum at today's end. It may be unbridled optimism with nearly everyone posting I-told-you-so's . Then again it may be the nadir of our annual suffering with nearly everyone posting I-told-you-so. Here's hoping for the former.

This should be overturned, unfortunately.

Tough break. Probably the right call but ball may have started to come out. Defense off to a very bad start.

I don't know. If its not conclusive, they're not supposed to change it. It looked to me like the ball was already coming loose when his knee hit. I didn't think it was conclusive enough, but then, we rarely get calls like that go our way.

This team puts up 40+ a game. We're going to play man the whole time, so they're going to have receivers open. Its imperative that we get some pressure on Hicks.

Great moves by Moody. SMU has a terrible secondary. This could be a shootout. 7-7

If SMU plays us as run first today, we're going to score tons of points.

That's why I don't see us winning this one. I want to be wrong badly, but their offensive is just too explosive for us. If SMU had at least a C defense, they would be 8-3 coming into this game. I don't see us being about to brawl with them.

We aren't built for a shootout. Those FIU and Cincinnati losses are going to haunt us today. Our defense is going to stuggle vs SMU. It's going to be worst if we are in a slugfest and keep forcing them to be on the field. Our best bet is to get up by 1 score and play conservative ball control football.

Wrong. All we'd do the is go 3 and out and lose by a ton. That's what got us in this situation.

We had them stopped on the first possession on the fumble, and it took a circus catch by Sutton on 4th otherwise it would have been our ball.

Hicks got greedy, and it really burned him.

We’re getting decent pressure on Hicks and that pressure helped cause the INT.

SMU is taking away the rush. The Oline has been awful.

The difference in playcalling between the two teams is scary. This game is over.
