BS flag on this post. The diehards that post here, myself included, couldn't get Rick Dickson out soon enough, and all complained about Cowen. As a matter of fact, most of us referred to the two as "CowDick."DrBox wrote:Fritz botched the end of the Navy and Cincy games. HIs offense may not be sophisticated enough for this level. We'll see if changes are made.
Yes, most people are diehards hereon...but Tulane still has too many fans who insist that you do it their way,do it with their favorite coach or who are more interested in personal access than in winning. Let's face it - die hards gave us 15 years of Dickson....so let's not act like die-hards should be, per se, above critique.
So don't even think about telling us diehards how we should or shouldn't react to the outcome of the game Saturday. We've suffered long enough that we're entitled to our opinions without worrying about the likes of you judging whether or not we're true to Tulane. Let's face it: Tulane has more apathetic alumni by a HUGE margin than it does diehard fans. The apathy is what got us 15 years of CowDick, and lead to Cowen being "honored" by the University. The few hundred diehards should be above critique.
