Guess its P5 bias again. Couldn't have a lesser school win the inaugural tournament.

tps, I had a feeling it might have been that. Were the schools made aware of this in advance? And if that was the plan from the beginning, why weren't fans made aware?

I suppose it was but I didn’t realize it until when they gave them the trophy. I was under the initial impression that when we play Fla St coming up that’s was going to be the title game but I guess I was mistaken.RobertM320 wrote:tps, I had a feeling it might have been that. I hope our players take it as such and pull a big upset.tpstulane wrote:I suppose it was but I didn’t realize it until when they gave them the trophy. If it’s point differential, maybe Coach Dunleavy didn’t know; otherwise, why empty the bench vs. Colorado State? I’m sure the trophy is not as big of a deal.tpstulane wrote:I’m told point differential.GreenLantern wrote:What??RobertM320 wrote:Not sure how this was determined.

We won the first sanctioned NCAA D1 basketball game played in Jamaica. I'll take that over the trophy, but announcing FSU as the "winner" is ludicrous.
