If the LSU game was the most fun of this young season, the Colorado St. game will be the most interesting and revelatory. On a neutral court against a decent team, if we perform well (or *gasp* win comfortably) that would bode very well for the year.

Agreed. This isn't a top 25 team, but it's a decent test early in the year.

For reference, kenpom.com has us ranked #177, and CSU at #121.

A big step up, considering that LIU-Brooklyn and SLU are #288 and #238, respectively.

Does anyone understand the format of this "tournament"? We only play two games this week in Jamaica. But already played Brooklyn and will play Miami (oh) and FSU, not in Jamaica later in the season. Leaving Hartford the only team we don't play.

Will there be some sort of a championship?

I dont think there's a champion, per se. Its an unusual format. Seven teams. Miami, Hartford and LIU-Brooklyn play a round robin. The other 4, FSU,Fordham, CSU and Tulane each play two games. We don't play FSU and CSU doesn't play Fordham. Not sure how they determined this.

Some others, such as the Barclays Center Classic, and the PK80 Classic have one round at campus sites and then send the winners to one site and the losers to a lesser venue.

Thanks for the breakdown. I guess I just assumed that the LIU, FSU, and Miami games were part of this, instead of just regular season games. Weird.

Anyway, CSU is by far the biggest game of OOC in my opinion. The only true test that isn't a pile of turds or pile of gold. Excited to watch this one!

Agreed format is bizarre but if it allows extra games in exotic places for early tv shots then all the better. Meanwhile FSU game is at neutral site Tampa in December. It is being televised by ESPN and not CBSSN so perhaps this is a scheduling coincidence and not some coda to the Jamaican tournament to give Tulane (and FSU?) third games.

Tulane up 9-2 at first media break. Cam Reynolds down with apparent twisted ankle. Hope it's not serious.

Thanks. Keep em coming. Except for reports of twisted ankles. No more of those

17-2 at second media break!

Anyone that think Fogelman is a HS gym should look at the arena they're playing in Jamaica. I think Tulane has an advantage because we're used to playing in a small, empty gym!

20-4 at the 7:28 time out.

Reynolds is back in the game, so nothing serious.

We absolutely must put this game in the win column. How many programs can claim to have won the first NCAA Basketball program played in a specific country?

If they're picked 5th in the MWC, either the MWC wont be sending 5 teams to postseason play or we're a heck of a lot better than we realize.

We absolutely must put this game in the win column because we lead by 23 at halftime and it would be criminal to blow this lead.
