Thank goodness we win. Great stop by D. We still stink but at least we get a much needed win. ECU has really gone down since dropping Ruffin McNeill.

Nice to win a game we're supposed to win. Fritz just earned another year.

yes lets give another year to a coach who blew a 10 point 4th quarter lead to a 2-7 team. he is lucky to escape with a win. glad we won but geez it should have not been that close.

Not saying he necessarilly deserves it. We should be 6-4 if not 7-3, with better coaching. But as long as we win 1 out of the final 2 games, he'll be back for 2 more years probably. Lose to FIU, Cincy, AND ECU and the job should seriously be in jeopardy.

Terrence Jones did a nice job as color commentator with Graf.

Yes, maybe we all can agree on that one. He knows the game.

Woo! Winning a conference game on the road with a goal line stand in OT. We overcame the bonehead personal foul by Briggs and the fumble and two INTs by our QB in the second half to win (attributable to Fritz of course). Let's take the positive juju to the Houston and SMU games. Roll damn Wave!

So explain how this ECU offense passed for 463 yards against Houston? Minshew was 52-68 against them, he was only 25-52 against us. I think the announcers near the end of the game said we had 12 PBUs. That's a lot.

Check the defensive stats later. We had a bunch of B-ups...that’s Break Ups for all you Southland Conference fans.

We only got the one sack, if I’m right. But, Aruna showed up to play tonight. Overall, we had some breakdowns, but played well enough to win by more than 1 OT touchdown.

If Briggs doesn't commit that foul, we probably run the clock out or even score and win the game 31-17. Not sure how you put that on Fritz.

Bottom line, the key to this offense is the QB. Banks is a step up from last year, but with the right QB you'd see a huge difference. A better passing QB probably doesn't miss Encalade down the middle on what would have been a TD. And several other passes where Banks just doesn't lead the receiver properly. Of course, maybe I'm just spoiled by 12 years of Drew Brees throwing receivers open. He makes it look so easy, it seems like anyone should be able to do it.

Two turnovers and a drive killing personal foul penalty in the fourth quarter.

..And they’re leaving Greenville with a win...but, I guess that’s not good enough.

Weird. I’m just not that excited. Glad we won but ECU is terrible.

Just learned this was our first win ever at Greenville in 9 tries. I have such painful memories of Greenville, one of the worst of which being Scelfo's first season in 1999 when, after the year before amazing 12-0 season, by halftime at Greenville we were already blown out and humiliated by ECU. I couldn't help but think, "well, Cowen sure got his K-Mart coach alright."
