There must be at least a dozen references to acronyms that I have no clue what they mean in that article. I get that the new hitting coach knows and trusts Jewitt. Let's hope he (and the rest of the staff) can coach the team to a whole lot better results than the $h!t show they put on last season.

It's Jewett. Hopefully his recruiting is a lot better than Pierce's. As for acronyms there's only three in the story and one that should be a little confusing but not that tough. LCC is clearly named in the article. NWAC is the Northwest Athletic Conference which makes sense considering where LCC is located. ABCA is well known as the American Baseball Coaches Association and is actually named in the story.

LCC stands for Lower Columbia College, for those who didn't actually read the article. It seems that Jewett must have either played or coached there at one time.
