I may be mistaken, but I think the writer of this article is a regular contributor on the " highly monitored and regulated forum site" regarding Tulane Athletics

Nice to get some home cooking for once.

Exactly. For those grassy knoll types, he also pays $10/mo to post much more frequently to Guerry Smith's site than he does on YOGWF.winwave wrote:Nice to get some home cooking for once.
He is an informed observer. Always worth reading and as Win notes, he wears green-colored glasses.

Funny how the article says Tulane has an advantage because they've faced this triple option so frequently. Yet another thread is devoted to an argument about how unfortunate it is we are to face this offense twice in three games.
If I understand the "money line" correctly you bet $100 to win $405 straight up? I like those odds!

It makes sense the first time. Then the difficulty sets in with having to gear up for it the second time. Glad we face the better team at it first.

This will be a really tough game. Navy is very good. I don't see them losing this but Tulane is very much improved. Would be a huge program building win for Fritz.

I can't recall being more excited in anticipation of a game. It's a good feeling when your team becomes a credible opponent for an established and storied program such as Navy.
Regardless of the final outcome, I hope we land the first punch, bloody their faces during the game, and make them leave the stadium with a new sense of respect for Tulane. Here's hoping we acquit ourselves well. Roll Wave!

I agree, the anticipation for this game is high. I hope we don't let the home crowd affect our relatively young team. Sooner or later Tulane is going to turn the corner and not let Lucy pull the ball away. I'd love for today to be the day.

The line has moved from 14 to 10. Most of your regular gamblers aren't betting on Tulane-navy so to move it that much I would assume there is some heavy money being put on Tulane by Vegas and the sharks. I've got us +14 and on the money line. I really believe we come out of this with a win. Hope I'm right.
Agree. Must be professional bucks piling in on Tulane. Vegas likes Fritz. I'm with the smart money!sader24 wrote:The line has moved from 14 to 10. Absolutely agree about the anticipation for this one. Feel good having such a veteran team for the first time in a while. One that had number of players that have played there. Good staff and a capable QB. Come on offensive line do your part.
