Currently have my 4 on the West Side. Close to field, no sun, but no chairback.
How are things on the east-side and those chairbacks?

Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

Do they allow you to order chairbacks there?

The chair backs which you can special order for the west side are not worth the money. They are uncomfortable and take up too much space. If you are 6 ft or taller with a chairback, you will find yourself with your knees in the back of the person sitting in front of you.

Comparing the seating on the east and west sides, there are definitely some trade offs. I suggest that you call your season ticket sales rep and tell him you would like to trade your tickets for one game for a couple seats on the east side. They did that for me last year (as a courtesy) and I decided to keep my west side seats on the 50 yard line. My suggestion is forget the chair backs but bring a seat cushion.

I rented the backrests for my West side seats in '14 but not since. I don't recommend them.

East side is good if you are in the upper deck -- I think the best view of the field is from here. Also, only steps from shade and big ass fans.

But the sun in your face is a big negative.

This year I am choosing Couch Side till Tulane proves they are worth spending the time and $ attending a game in person
