Our schedule is ranked #42 in the country. San Diego is #25 as one of the teams we've played that was better than predicted:

The Wave takes Game 1 7-1. Merrill gave us 8 shut out innings. Willsey goes yard in the ninth. Then Dehart hit a three run bomb off the scoreboard in right center to put us up 7-0. Good start to the weekend. Cumbie didn't pitch b/c he was sick.

Great game and great start for the series!

Wonder if anyone else had trouble with the AAC free streaming video. I got nothing but error messages both on my iPhone and iPad.

It worked fine for me all evening, but I was on a desktop.

I didn't have any problem getting it on multiple devices. Sorry you missed it. I should have added aboe that Kaplan made several outstanding catches tonight. The first was the best as he leaped to snag a ball that was going over the fence.

True, you got me!!! :D We did begin the season squeaking out a 4-3 win over AIr Force. So for about 20 hours this year we were "perfect." ;)

But this team is now on a "Roll Wave Roll" for the 2017 season.

Six run fifth puts the Wave up 7-3! Knocked out Houston's ace Cumbie, who came in at 6-0 1.40 ERA. Roughed him up for 7 hits and 6 ER in 4.2 innings. If we can win this, we're playing with house money tomorrow! We play Houston again at home, so winning the series in Houston would be huge.

Gave it away tonight with 4 errors. Lose 8-7. Fall to 20-20 on the year. Frustrating loss.

That one hurt. Give Houston credit. They burned up their closer for 4.1 innings in order to keep us at 7, hoping they'd get a break. And they did. 3 errors in the last two innings. They were more desperate than we were tonight.

At least it only dropped to #77. A win today should still get us up into the 60s.

Nightmare. I'm turning the radio off. If there is a comeback from this, it will be a game to remember.

Unbelievable. Walks 4 batters straight to start the game on Tuesday, then pitches 7 innings of 2 hit shut out ball. Comes out today and can't get the ball across the plate again. A first pitch homer and then 3 walks. What's going on with him?
