Plenty to play for:

Both teams look like they will Johnny Wholestaff it. We'll start with Schnake.

Two questions: Is the UNO coach in his mid 20's, having graduated LSU in 2013 or did he finish his degree later in life? Also, is the 1B his brother (or other relative?)

Blake's 29 years old and yes the 1B is his younger brother. If Blake rec'd his degree in 2013 then I'm guessing he probably finished up his studies after playing a little pro ball.

Disappointing loss as we desperately need wins. The good that came out of it was Schnake giving 3 good innings against a good hitting team before he faltered. So maybe he can help as a reliever. Then Andrews was excellent. Maybe showing he could be the mid-week starter.

Sad we've now fallen behind UNO in basketball and baseball under this new AD.

Let's hope they don't go Div I football. Worried about Wichita State passing us in football also.

It should be noted too that Artigues threw out a runner last night in his first start at catcher. Kudos to him for stepping up for his team.

UNO has a pretty good hitting team. I wasn't too surprised by that loss with our midweek pitching situation. However I still expect to beat them when they come back to us at Turchin.
