Kaplan with cornrows and tattoos is NOT very "Tulanish" and quite ugly, IMO!

Another thing, at least we don't have to see Kramer Robertson's mother EVERY time he comes to bat!

I'm as frustrated as most here but I sure do enjoy beating those guys up the river. Takes some of the sting out of this bad start. Third straight over those Tigah's.

Always fun to beat them. Rare rough night in the field for Williams but Colletti held strong and got it done.

In spite of his rough night, Williams drove in the decisive run.

So, I was watching the game on Apple TV and my stream cut out in the bottom of ninth inning. That is the first time I have had that happen with my Apple TV. I suspect it was on WatchESPN's end.

I tried to switch to WRBH's audio stream of the game. That cut out in me. I went to Tulane's Twitter account. That hadn't been updated since Top of Ninth. Finally went to NOLA.com, Lopez's comment that Tulane had won 7-6 gave me a wonderful sigh of relief.

Whew!

I could be wrong but I would bet that she would prefer someone of a "different" persuasion. :D

FWIW, According to D1 Baseball:
Tulane RPI up 35 spots to 209

lsu down 11 spots to 34

Those damn mid-week games and their "meaninglessness!"

If we do well against USF we should move into the top 200. Roll Wave.

From D1 Baseball (Aaron Fitt): "

Upset of the Day: Tulane over LSUThis rivalry matchup had lost some luster with Tulane getting off to a 9-15 start heading into Tuesday. Sixth-ranked LSU certainly looked like the favorite coming in, but Tulane slugged its way to a 7-6 win in Baton Rouge, taking the first of two meetings between the teams this season. After its miserable 3-12 start, Tulane has quietly won seven of its last 10, and it is inching toward respectability.
Long balls were the big story of this game, as Tulane rode three of them to the victory. Jake Willsey homered twice, including a go-ahead two-run shot in the sixth, and Lex Kaplan added a two-run homer in the fifth. That all helped Tulane overcome Mike Papierski’s grand slam in the fourth for LSU.

If Massey can get right this team does have a real shot at winning the conference tourney. No chance we can get a bid any other way. There is talent but either the staff is rotten or the players are not adjusting to the new culture.
