Reynolds did not walk on Senior Day for what that's worth.

Good win!! 81-69. Like football, we end the season on a very good, positive note. Say what you want about MD, his team has played hard to the end!
Reynolds was lights out today. Reyes might be in Central Lockup tonight.

Last six games they led at the half, including four on the road. Won the two home games, and lost to ECU by 3 and Temple in OT. Not even considering the SMU game, we could have easily won 4 of last 6.

March recruiting period starts in less than a week. I hope Dunleavy is aware of the importance of this period. Osetkowski had 10 calls/texts with offers before he got back to his dorm room after the AAC tourney last year. Hopefully coach has already solidified Reynolds for next season.winwave wrote:Reynolds did not walk on Senior Day for what that's worth.

I don't remember. Did he announce he was transferring before the end of the tourney last year? Otherwise, wouldn't that be some tampering violations? Or just exaggeration on your part?DrBox wrote:March recruiting period starts in less than a week. I hope Dunleavy is aware of the importance of this period. I am happy for the Seniors....they play Tulsa in the tourney...I saw the last 5 minutes...ball handling and passing during that span was plain ugly...there were at least two air balls in the last 2 minutes of the game...u can tell this team lacks any type of "baseline" help on D...maybe that will change next year
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !
Of course it's tampering; but let's not be naïve and I certainly home CMD isn't.
There are ways to do it without technically "tampering."
"Congrats on a great season. Love the way you play. We lose player X after next season, and I hope we can recruit a player with your skills and work ethic to replace him. Regards, Coach Z"

Can you explain what happened? Was the incident shown on TV replay?Houma de Wave wrote: Reyes might be in Central Lockup tonight.
I was at the game and did not see what happened. It was a struggle for the coaching staff to get all of the players back to our bench. For a few seconds it appeared there was about to be a riot. Reyes had blood on his shoulder and was appealing his case to Dunleavy. Reyes does not appear to me to be the sort of fellow you would want to tangle with in a street fight.
In the first incident that led to the technical their player stepped on his throat and then kicked him in the privates. On the second incident I just saw him on the floor writhing in pain. He had blood on him. Dunleavy told them to look at the replay. They did but never called anything. I'm sure he'll get his revenge on Thursday.GreenLantern wrote:Can you explain what happened? Stewart is aware of it. He's the one his son recommended.DrBox wrote:March recruiting period starts in less than a week. I hope Dunleavy is aware of the importance of this period. They played well for the whole game today. Finally a 40 minute effort. They were fun to watch and played well on both ends. On the post game MD said we had 21 deflections that led to 18 points. We have done a good job getting into the passing lane at times this year. Today we did it throughout. It was really fun to watch. Really happy for the seniors. First win on Senior Day in 6 years.

Just a joke. Tempers flared a bit. Two Tulsa assistants rushed onto the court to detain their player and were ejected for leaving the bench. We got 2 Tech. FT's out of it with Reynolds sinking both. Reyes and the other player returned to the floor.GreenLantern wrote:Can you explain what happened? Was the incident shown on TV replay?Houma de Wave wrote: Reyes might be in Central Lockup tonight.

None of us know what Reynolds is going to do. He and the team have continued to play hard despite the results this year and like the team he has gotten better too as the season plays out. That leaves me hopeful.

I'm starting to see a glimmer of hope in this program. They played competitive in a lot of losses, just couldn't finish several games. Smith and Morgan graduating is addition by subtraction with Sehic and Cornish becoming eligible. In order for Reynolds to transfer he has to graduate, where does he stand with that? Either way, expect some transfers in and out of the program, it's an epidemic in college basketball.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Von Julien transfer out. He got hardly any playing time the last two months.

Dr. Box can verify - Reynolds, I have heard, has the credits to get his undergraduate degree. We need him back.
On the other site they said he is set to graduate in December and that he is coming back.

Morgan never lived up to the 4 star hype but he is a player that did a lot of things that go unnoticed. He had twice the assist our starting PG had. He got a lot of rebounds for a guard. He was solid on D. Not saying he can't be replaced but I wouldn't put him the addition by subtraction category.JerseyWave wrote:I'm starting to see a glimmer of hope in this program. Agree here. As many times as I cringed when he committed a turnover, he was instrumental in setting up a lot of guys. He also provided leadership out there.winwave wrote:Morgan never lived up to the 4 star hype but he is a player that did a lot of things that go unnoticed.
