SWEEP, BABY !!!!! Break out da' brooms !!!
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

Lost in the poor start to the season is the fact that our catcher, coming off Tommy John surgery, has thrown out 7 base stealers and picked off another. Hats off to Jerry Montalbano.

This team badly needs a win. Let's hope they get it tonight.

I went last year to MGM Park in Biloxi and had a blast with a bunch of GB's. Had it been there as was originally scheduled I definitely would have made the trip. I stayed right across the street at the Beau Rivage. This time around being 1-6 I have no interest in driving to Hattiesburg the day after Mardi Gras. Besides it's looking like rain over there at the moment and USM is 7-1.

Still almost worth the drive just to eat at Leatha's! :D

Games in rain delay right now. Hasnt started yet. Waiting for a line of T-storms to get through first.

Looks like a 7:30 CST start. Tarp is off, according to the USM feed.

While we're waiting, I looked at WVU's schedule and results. They're no slouch team, having won 5 or 6 in a row including two AT (defending national champs) Coastal.

They were expected to field one of their best teams this year. Looking forward to seeing the games this weekend. I like the scheduling.

I understood your point. I was just saying it started out well .He has continued to do well in it. Can only hope it continues. We need someone to establish themselves there. Might help get us going.
