Women play Temple today, for third place in AAC. 1pm at Devlin

Just took a look at the UConn score. They're ahead of Tulsa 27-13, with 4:17 left in the half. The Huskies must be superhuman. 16 minutes into the game and they have ZERO fouls. They're only 1-12 from 3, but they've forced Tulsa into 10 turnovers already. They are great on forcing turnovers.

We've always known we're playing for second place in the AAC, so today's game is important. If you can finish 2nd or 3rd, you end up on the opposite side of the bracket from UConn in the conf tournament.

Were ahead 26-25 after 1st period. Missed 18 straight shots and scored 3 points total in the 3rd quarter. Bad day all around for the ladies.

This game could be the final straw in the ladies' hopes for an NCAA bid. A blowout loss at home to an unranked Temple team is costly.

Temple is not actually ranked but they do get votes in the polls. Also, the Tulane RPI is still higher than 40 and will get better when they play UConn and USF again. If they can beat the other teams with only conference losses to UConn, USF and Temple, Tulane will separate themselves from everyone below them and have a decent shot. Temple was VERY good on Sunday. If Temple can manage to beat USF in 2 weeks or Tulane able to beat USF next week (tall order), the Wave chances will be enhanced. Essentially, they are in playoff urgency now.

Agree. They win and they are in.
