Thought this quote was important:
Fritz said no fourth-year juniors would participate in senior day festivities, making it a small group for the pregame ceremony.
As a typical long suffering Tulane fan, I'm always reading more into things than what's there. Is this good, because it means no 4th yr juniors plan on leaving, or is it just that Fritz doesn't let players with eligibility walk, period? Pessimistic minds want to know.

Is game time 11am like the clock on the right, or is it 2:30pm?

Troublesome stat of the day: Temple has blocked 5 kicks this year, 19 in the past four seasons.
Be proactive, being reactive is for losers..

I think it's Fritz' choice. Just putting the spotlight on the seniors. we will have some RS Juniors not come back.

We can counterpoint that against how many road games has Tulane been the Homecoming opponent this season?

Would be great if we could do AAC a real solid today and knock off Temple. I think winner of Navy v USF has a much better chance to get Access Bowl over a 1 loss MWC than Navy v Temple.

Clear, sunny, very windy, and cold here. For us thin-blooded New Orleanians, it's going to be a very chilly 3rd and 4th quarter. My wife wouldn't even discuss going to the game (TCU girl). Wind will definitely play a factor in this game.

Tailgating is only about 10% of the homecoming turnout. Will try and get a few pics. Temple has a nice size tent and is the best attended visitor's tailgate to date.

Not sure why every opponent's game plan isn't to throw deep on EVERY down. Secondary is terrible.

Been holding my tounge all year, but Donnie Lewis shouldn't ever see the field the rest of his time here....nothing personal, but the kid can't play DB.

Two negatives I have observed all season:

1. #21 constantly being burned in the secondary.

2. Cuillette running the football and I blame the coaches for this. Good things rarely happen when Cuillette keeps the ball and why do the coaches allow this when you have FOUR proven, effective running backs available! Put the ball in the RB's hands!!!

So we need to forget about triple option, double option, single option or whatever we want to call the pitch play. Last week we pitched 0-7 times and had a net negative yardage. Today we run it twice with the lone pitch netting us - 5 yards. Just freaking hand the ball off please.

If only the forward pass was illegal we'd be pretty good. T Smart is a beast.

These bonehead announcers didn't realize that Glenn had been replaced by Jonathan.

Who's the pussy RB who allowed himself to be driven back into the play?
