Tulsa is very good offensively, but vulnerable on defense. We have a good defense, but offensively.............we have got to pitch the football!!!!!

Game notes:

• Tulane is 0-5 in games played at Tulsa. The Green Wave is 2-10 in the series, having beaten the Hurricane 14-7 in 2013 and 25-15 in 1968, both in New Orleans.

• The Green Wave ranks first in the American and 13th nationally in fewest opponent first downs, allowing only 16 per game. Tulane also leads the league in turnover margin (1.33).

• Cornerback Parry Nickerson is averaging 1.83 passes defended per game, the most in the conference. He has two interceptions, including one returned 96 yards for a touchdown.

• Willie Fritz, who has 196 career victories, is in his first season at Tulane. His three losses have been by an average margin of seven points.

• Tulane ranks last in the league in total offense, passing offense and passing efficiency. Quarterback Glen Cuiellette is completing 45.9 percent of his passes for 102.7 yards per game.

That's a big loss especially when we are going against a high flying offense. Hopefully Mr. Smart and Mr. Aruna will be in their backfield all day to keep their high flying offense in check. Roll Damn WAVE!
