I don't think the Wave is quite up to Memphis yet.
Hope I'm wrong.
Memphis 35
Tulane 27
10th straight loss to those Tigers.

Ouch.

Tulane 17
Memphis 24

If Tulane manages to win this game, it will certainly change the outlook for the season as Memphis is one of the 3 best teams that Tulane will have faced so far this season (w/Navy and Wake).

Actually they will be the 6th team we faced this season.

Memphis ( u will always be a State )...27
Tulane 10
not enuff of a consistent passing game to allow the running game to get going...Memphis State keeps 8 in the box, which is two more than a six pack, but 16 less than a case

I'll be the first to predict the upset. Tulane 27, Memphis 17. Tulane's front 7 keep Memphis on the ropes like Temple did to Memphis in the first half last week. Tulane's O runs up >300 yards on the ground and 160 yards passing. Tulane will have its first signature win since Nov 2014 against UofH.

Now, now Nut, 2 weeks ago you predicted "UMass 27....Tulane 14." Nut, this is a Willie Fritz team that will fight hard to the very end!

If Tulane can establish the run and protect QB we will win. I just don't think that will happen I hope I'm wrong.

I think they bring too much offense, more than we've seen at any point this year. I'd be VERY impressed if our offense can keep up, which would make the defense's jobs much easier. The team has shown a lot of improvement and growth from week one to week 5. But I still don't think we're there YET.

Hoping Memphis sleepwalks into a game they assume they'll win and we surprise them.

Damn... :(

Game kinda went the way my gut told me. Defense is stout, offense just isn't developed enough to compete. Still think we're good enough to win vs Tulsa, SMU and UConn.
