Brantley makes the pitch there on 4th down, we might score, DEFINITELY pick up the first down and a lot more.

That 4th down play was garbage. Brantley is regressing fast. He pitches and it's a 5-10 yard gain. #89 doesn't block anyone

The play call wasn't garbage, if Brantley pitches it's a minimum 8-10yd gain.

15 first downs in the first half alone.

TOP 22:45 to 7:15 in favor of Tulane.
Offensive plays, Tulane 49, UMass 21.

35 rushes - 164 yards
6/14 passing, 64 yards.

Total yards, Tulane 228, UMass 139. Pretty amazing when you think that UMass had 71 yards 4 minutes into the game.

Their defense is sucking wind. We have to pound the ball in the second half . I'm sick and tired of watching our QBs run with the football. Fritz sounding very confident in the halftime interview.

Glad you brought this up, I cannot find it on ESPN3 either!
It's not on ESPN3. UMASS doesn't have an ESPN affiliation. It's only on Direct TV 1171 New England Area. Cox 37, Charter 815 and WHNO Ch 20 Cox and Charter Ch 14 and over the air free locally.

Our other American Sports Network game this year, vs. Navy, was streamed on ESPN3. I believe all the games are but I could be wrong. Tulane has certainly said it would be on ESPN3.
I called UMASS directly and they told me it would not be on ESPN3 because they are not affiliated with ESPN.
Looks like UMASS athletic dept. doesn't always have the right information either.

Way to come back after that horrific start. Hope Glen is OK. We are winning all the stats except for the only one that counts. Let's change that and then some.

I'll take 6.0 yes per carry any day with my QB. And Cuillette has that. Brantley is another story.

Except Cuillette took a shot on his throwing shoulder while running the ball that knocked him out of the game.

This could be a big step forward for Glen C. While I'd rather not see him run as often as he has today, he looks a whole lot quicker than his previous games. At the same time, both he and Brantley failed to make one or two key pitches each. I want to see us continue the nice pass/run mix, and DO NOT need to see Brantley again, if Glenn C is healthy.

The changes at QB have disrupted the offense each game. Let's stick with the starter, unless he's injured.

He looks quicker b/c he's now comfortable w/the offense.

We are pretty one-dimensional with him too, but point taken.

Crazy. I remember about 10-15 GB's went to watch a game at Bruno's because we were told by Tulane it was going to be on. We got there and Bruno's knew nothing about it and couldn't get the broadcast. Lol. True story. Ever since then I try to double check. Now that theory has been compromised.

There's got to be some criticism out there about our woeful 2-play drive. Way to go, Wave!
