It's good that he is at least receiving some recognition for how competitive Tulane has been. The only first year AAC coach ranked higher is Memphis' coach.

While these rankings are based upon a very small (4 game) sample of wins and losses, I do think Fritz is a very good coach. But if nothing else, this should remind us that we're not the only school to hire a good coach, and not the only one in our conference that has a good coach. We're not going to win many games simply because we have a good coach. But we won't lose many, like we did the past three years, because our coach is clueless.
