Who cares about this losing program under Conroy until our new AD fires him and gets a new top coach to bring us back to the NCAA tournament and top 25 every year. How do you lose to two SWAC teams at home in the same week?

I can hear the intro music for the Tulane staff now....."send in the clowns"
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

MSU is a 7 point favorite.

MSU seems to be as inept as Tulane is at this point. I'd take the points, but only if I were forced to make a wager.

I hate Conroy. They are not running any offense. 10 straight missed FGs, and too many of those are 3s.

They are continuing to take 3s despite not being good shooters whatsoever.

Just fire Conroy now. This season is shot.

Unbelievable. They outscore MSU 20-5 in the first 9 minutes of the second half, then get outscored 21-2 in the next 9 minutes.

At one point we had 36 of 49 points in the paint, then we got away from getting the ball inside and started settling for jumpers.

And the free throws again. At one point, we were up 50-44, got to the line on 3 straight possessions, and went only 1-6. That was out chance to really blow the game open, and we couldn't.

Great game by Oski!

We've gotta hit FTs. Let this one slip away.

I see EC being in the same exact situation as CJ. The handwriting is on the wall. This is year 6 and his record here is 86-87. With TD as AD he won't be renewed at the end of this season.
It's frustrating to see no improvement at least from the FT line. Reminds me of CJ's lack of attention to special teams. Same thing last year. Terrible FT shooting. The AAC has three teams now in the Top 25 in basketball. We were picked last and that's about where I see us finishing.
It's sad because the talent has been upgraded.
I'm disgusted.

I think Conroy sees the writing on the wall. He seems like he's not making adjustments or coaching with any sense of urgency.

That was weak. We were in control and then the last 10 minutes was horrible. What were we -- 1 for 15 shooting at the end? Hard to watch.

Conroy is the last remaining link to the losing culture of Rick Dickson.

We were 21-37 from 2 point range (57%), and 4-24 from 3pt range (17%).

Most of the twos were in the paint, not even mid-range. If we just kept going inside instead of settling for three's, we'd have won this game.

Not to echo j, (not a repetitive vent but a serious question),

Could we dismiss Conroy ASAP and let one of the assistants coach out the year?

If rumors are true, then EC is not operating under a written contract.

And if that is true he might be able to be let go for little or know buy out.

I think we have players to succeed. We have a group of assistants who have a wealth of experience.

I think we have at least one who could man the helm and steer this ship out of its current morass.

For those who think the talent has been upgraded, I agree. But, it couldn't have gotten any worse with what he has had. The problem is he never could coach. Hope TD can make a splash hire ASAP.

Stolen from the SLU boards (They just lost to UT-Martin the other day....their athletic department/school is in a very similar position except their new president hasn't cleaned house with a new AD yet, very different vibes since Dannen took over) but feels right over here too
