and yet you can see glimpses of the talent. It's just painfully poorly coached, conditioned, and outside of Rob Kelly and Marley not playing with much fire.

How could they hire Bob Toledo's special teams coach? How could they retain Eric Price? Because they are loyal to Rick Dickson, which is more important to him than the success of Tulane's athletic program.

Our offense has no deception to it at all. And it looks like Lee is being told to throw to the one guy designed as the primary receiver. This is a really bad UCF team. We look much stronger. The big fear is that these coaches will find a way to screw this up.

Nice audible to the Badie TD run.

Tulane is looking like a TEAM in this first half; perhaps they are turning the corner.

And then the dumb mistakes come out. A sack with less than a minute left, but its nullified by a defensive holding by Monroe. No excuse as a senior.

It's hard to see the flashes of what this could be if our coaching staff wasn't a collection of Rick Dickson's friends and loyalists. Proper coaching would have this roster seriously challenging for the AAC title next year.

The light bulb might be going on for Tanner Lee. His talent level is unfathomably high.

Guys, let's not go overboard. This is a really bad UCF team. Even so this game is still loseable.

There's no doubt about our level of talent, and I know our coaching isn't the best, but our players NEED to be smarter. We make too many mistakes that are on the players. It doesn't take coaching to tell you not to make a late hit when the clock is running out. Just common sense.

86 yards rushing for us at half. Would like to see us get that up to 200 by end of game. That would mean we're controlling the line of scrimmage and the ball.

By the way, great moves by Veal on that 49 yard TD reception.

Any idea how many times they can run a slant before we do something about it? No way a slant on 3rd and 15 should result in a first down.

Thank God UCF came out in tight formations in the first Half allowing us to be aggressive in our defensive calls. They are now spreading the field making it tougher to shoot LBs.

+1

Wave taking control. D plays so much better when the O keeps them off the field with few 3 and outs.

The Hullabaloo can be clearly heard on ESPNews. I've heard if often! ;)

Our entire defense looks great all day particularly the four on the defensive line, defensive ends and all our interceptions by mostly our defensive backs. Offense looking better. Only negative is our kicker that gave them seven points as a gift. Great game by the Wave.

The read option might have more success if Lee would keep occasionally. The DEs collapse quickly. We need to keep them honest.

We've had a lot of freshmen make big plays today. Teamer, Preston, Dace, Ardoin, Shienall.

Todd just said that the deep snap on the XP after the last touchdown (45-17) was from the legally blind player Golub. Entire team was congratulating him after the play. Good to see.

I guess the NCAA finally cleared Golub to play then.
