I usually go down to Tulane sometime before the season starts and buy a schedule to put up in my bar. How am I supposed to put this thing up and not get ridiculed about Tulane using the Falcons slogan on the goddamn schedule. I've already had 3 friends call me who saw this stupid thing laughing their a$$ off about how stupid we are. Does Rick Dickson live in a coccoon? If I put this schedule up I literally will have to hear it until the day I take it down. Putting a Falcons slogan up in my bar would be like asking Mike Johnston to wear a Tommy Hodson jersey around town. I hate the Falcons and I also getting ridiculed about being a Tulane fan enough as it is so no Tulane schedule this year. Congrats Rick Dickson, you're incompetent.

Not sure, I went to a party this weekend and the host had a few around his bar. But I don't think it was Tulane.NOLABigSteve wrote:Who printed that poster???
Came from Dumag Printing 504-368-3327 It's on hard poster paper not that cheap stuff Tulane uses.

how about using "SURF'S UP' !!!!! or beach warning sign ...'RIP TIDES"
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !
That's the 1st time I've seen a Tulane poster like that in years. Tulane should print one like that up and send someone from the Athletic Department out 1 week to go to every single bar and restaurant and put them up for free like the beer companies do for LSU and the Saints. I'd put that up in a heartbeat.

Well listen to this one. The fine people at the printing shop told me that they printed up 100 complimentary copies but yesterday, they received a "cease and desist" order from the Tulane athletics department thus they have no intention of making any of these available. Just another example of complete incompetence and pettiness on the part of the halfwits at Tulane. I am trying to find out who at Tulane felt so threatened by this nice poster that they felt compelled to threaten this printing company

Maybe someone should send one of those to Rick Dickson. Does he even know what one of those looks like? smhsader24 wrote:That's the 1st time I've seen a Tulane poster like that in years. Isn't it obvious to anyone in the New Orleans media (yes, Tammy and Doug, and even Kenny Trahan, I'm talking to you) that the Tulane Athletic Department is making a CONSCIOUS effort to keep from being successful in athletics? What does it take to get you guys to report this? Personally, I'm sick and tired of hearing about LSU and Oregon, LSU and Oregon, Jordan Jefferson, LSU, Les Miles, Jordan Jefferson, Oregon and LSU, etc, etc, ad nauseum. Get off your behinds and do some REAL reporting, rather than just rehashing what everyone already knows. Maybe, if you BROKE the news once in awhile, people would actually READ the paper again!
