i predict 18,000. We supposedly seat 30,000. We opened the season last year against Georgia Tech in the new stadium with 30,000. After three wins last year no one cares unless we get a President,AD and head coach to turn it around. Not likely! The views from CBS Sports this Thursday night with no one in the stands will be a major embarrassment to Tulane.

Like Winwave said playing at 8:30pm on a Thursday school night and the game on TV will keep some home. But I'm looking forward to supporting the Greenwave in person and having fun doing it!

NOLA Task will give us the scanner count, he is either a mole who works for Tulane or has a relative or close friend who works for the athletic department.

I'm guessing 8,000 actual butts in seats, mostly on the west side. I don't think it will look too bad on TV since the cameras are now on the east side. Who knows? We'll find out tomorrow night. I'll be there. Roll Wave!
God Bless Everyone!

I've been told #Tulane student tickets will come close to selling out for tomorrow's game against #Duke. Good sign for Yulman.

Doctor Evil and his assistance, Number 2, has predicted..."one million"
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

If it was in the Dome it would be less then half and no matter the score a ton would leave at halftime.

Announced: 24,000
Actual: 18,500

Students keep showing up, but leave early if we are losing in the second half.

Glazier remains empty, Westfeldt has 7 more people sitting in it every game since I've moved my tickets there from the west side.

Still may more people (especially students) than if we were at the Dome. If we win tonight and against Maine, expect a big crowd for UCF in a month. If we are undefeated expect a sell out against UCF. Winning is the single most important factor in filling the stadium.

Kickoff 7,000
2nd Quarter 9,000
3rd Quarter 4,000
4th quarter 1,500
Add them up and that's how you get to the announced figure of 21,500

There is zero question there will be more people there than we had at the dome. Zero.

The difference is with the dome, it was harder to eyeball what the actual attendance was. At Yulman you may be able to eyeball it.

But honestly, any school that plays on a weeknight at 8:30 local will struggle with attendance. I'm not remotely concerned about tonight's attendance. That's a long term focus. We're not going to solve those issues this year or even next. Tonight there is only one night that matters, and that is the score. Get it done Wave.

Doesn't matter what attendance is tonight. Play like losers and no one will be there for the rest of the season. It's about winning -- no matter what the ass hole AD thinks or says. He's a proven loser.
