Baseball @ Cincinnati 4/24 - 4/26
After getting blown out by LSU who cares about Cincinnati and the rest of the season. No NCAA regional play as usual because no one on our team can hit the baseball for the last six years. Coach Pierce has mega blue chip recruiting in front of him where he will succeed!

According to rollwave's stats (lies, damn lies, and stats) we are a markedly superior team to Cincinnati. As long as we pitch away from the kid Ian Happ, we should be in the ball game each day.

As bad as the Bearcats have been, they're exactly one game behind us in the conference standings. If they were two take two of three from us, they'd be tied. If we could sweep them (and keep in mind they hit and field better) we could be one game over .500 in conference.
Again, nothing comes easy for this team.

Big deal. We are not going anywhere. Are we still 6th in conference? We cannot hit the baseball for the last six years to back up some of our great pitchers. We need to clean house and recruit blue chip athletes that know how to hit the baseball! Hit it to get on base. Then string hits to generate runs. Our team this year and for the last five years is pathetic! Six years to date it has not happened! How can anyone go out to Turchin to watch this pathetic product. But Coach Pierce with top recruiting the next few years will turn this around, I guarantee!

Get lost troll.
Speak softly but carry a bigschtick! In Sumrall We Trust!
Big chtick your call anyone that disagrees with you a troll. You are sick! We should sweep Cincinnati with their poor record, but first we need to learn how to hit the baseball after six years. Our entire TU team cannot do it to date. But Coach Pierce will bring us back by blue chip recruiting to the NCAA tournament in a couple of years. Only great hire by Rick Dickson in fifteen years as Pierce. Scelfo,Toledo,CJ,Dickerson,Finney and Conroy were and are terrible and a disgrace.

Great win! Just an FYI, but UC has not lost a homes series all year. Also we have not swept an away team in over 7 years....these next two game are going to be tough but we can definitely pull it off. Another interesting stat is that, todays game was the 1st game in our last 8 games that we did not play a ranked opponent.
And lastly Johnathon you are the worst poster on the board and thats saying something. I would've ran you off of here years ago if i ran this site. I'm 100 % certain there is not one true fan associated with Tulane baseball that would give 2 sh*ts less if you ever came on this site or went to another tulane baseball game in your life....therefore; quit posting about it and STAY AWAY from the baseball program.

You sir will get a nice cold beer at the next baseball/football game that you and I attend.
Good start to the weekend. Set the record for shut outs in a season. Hell of an accomplishment. Plus there still are a lot of games to play. Hopefully we shatter the record. God knows Merrill deserves good things to happen to him . Happy for him.

Two consecutive weeks of scoreless pitching from Corey Merrill. Ian Gibaut was masterful out of the pen with the save.

Hey Jonathan, we get it. You think this sucks. You think that sucks. I'm all for freedom of speech but your constant moaning is ridiculous. As many games as I've watched over the past few years I know this: this is the best TEAM we've had in a long time. We may not mash the ball but Pierce already has these guys fighting 'till the last out.
No I can't pull the "I've been watching for 50 years card" but I'd rather support and critique than bitch consistently.
Say your peace and then let us have ours!

I have enough of this ass-clown. If I was your English professor, I'd commit suicide. Tulane degree my ass. You are a turd troll with penis envy against everyone else.
By the way you were not at the Box last week. The usher stated handicap seating is along the first base side. Just a few suggestions: don't get smart ass and derogatory with the Parish Krewe. They will beat you like a baby seal; when a pitcher gives up 1 earned run against one of the top hitting teams in the country, he doesn't suck you moron. You love to talk about free speech, but you want to censor anybody who calls you out. So suck on that you shit bag. Also, my ULL graduate daughter thinks you are an idiot too. There end of the lesson.

"Purple & Gold? You look ridiculous!"-Johnny Be Good.
Pardon my acknowledgement of you, Jonathan.
But I never did see you post a ticket of the game (as was requested numerous times) in Baton Rouge that you said you were attending.
You are a troll to me. And I try not to acknowledge trolls.
Good day.

Thanks Pepper. I really try hard not to acknowledge Jonathan anymore. Glad that you did!!Pepper wrote:I have enough of this ass-clown. If I was your English professor, I'd commit suicide. Tulane degree my ass. You are a turd troll with penis envy against everyone else.

If Jonathan posts and everyone has him on ignore, has he really said anything?
