The Advertiser is the only media outlet in the state that uses that name because of the pressure you put on then in advertising. The Advocate and Times Picayune calls you by you real name the University of Louisiana at Lafayette ULL formerly the University of Southwestern Louisiana the sister and companion school of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. ULM. ULM has no problem with their name,why do you? LSU A&M is the public flagship university in Louisiana. Tulane is the top academic university in Louisiana and the Gulf South. You are are a low Tier 2 academic institution stuck in the lowly Sunbelt Conference. The only public Tier 1 universities in our state are La. Tech and LSU A&M.
