Should be a great series as a beautiful area of California Not quite as nice as Malibu. . Love flying in to John Wayne Airport rather than LAX. Great statute of the Duke in western gear at the airport. . North Dakota took the series from U Cal Riverside last week but lost the last game 25-0. Must take this team seriously and no partying on the West Coast and or Laguna Beach,Malibu or Venice Beach! Keep our hitting, defense and pitching going from the Southeastern game and sweep this series going into LSU A&M next week.

No video tonight? Looks like just audio. Cal-Riverside has nothing posted for viewing the game.

After one and a half the Wave trail 1-0. Wave have four strikeouts already. Back to that bad habit.

After 2, it's still 1-0 Riverside. We go to the top of the third, bottom of the order up.

Not being agressive at the plate. Now 5 strikeouts. Not even taking the bat off our shoulders.

Another strikeout. Four straight looking. Taking the bleeping bat off your shoulders! Graf says these are all fastballs down the center of the plate. Got no one to blame but ourselves.

After the top of the fourth, we still haven't reached base. Riverside pitcher is throwing a perfect game with 8 strikeouts.

Well, the optimism I was starting to feel about our hitting after the last two games is gone. 10 strikeouts. No runners on base. We look pathetic now.

But nothing else.

By the way, what is Richard Carthon's batting average? It must be amazingly low.

16 strikeouts of our 27 outs. Need a serious hitting coach. Hitting weekend pitching has been dismal. Only one run for Corey again.

Error by Wilsey turns an easy out into two bases for Riverside. Winning run on second. This has to be the worst performance by Tulane in a close game for a while.

Yeah, this isn't exactly the greatest pitching staff in the world. Team ERA of 4.05 entering the series.

Kap steals 2nd goes to 3rd on wild throw. Gando strikes out to make it 18 so for in the game. So of 30 outs we have 18 by strikeout.
