No problem. I'm glad you enjoy reading it. Let me know if you can think of anything I should add or take away from the preview.
These 2 teams do look very similar on paper, but our schedule has been tougher in my opinion. I think both teams will struggle to put up runs, so hopefully we can continue to be good late in games.

I do like these as well. Unless I missed it, the only thing I would add is the game times somewhere.

Nice article by Scott K.
One note he's listed 43 straight innings without a run for Corey Merrill is when Corey started a game. The actual count is 54 straight inning pitched by Corey without a run. That includes his stint as a bullpen guy earlier last season.

Thanks for posting these! I know it's a bit early but in the future listing their RPI's would be great too. :) Roll Wave, beat Creighton

So, what should our expectations be for the weekend? For instance, we expected to sweep UNO. Should we expect sweep, or should a series win be considered acceptable given the quality of the opponent? Of course, I'd like a sweep, but what should our expectations be?

We'd all of course love a sweep but expectation wise at this early stage winning the series would do.

Yeah, great game, but Steel didn't bring his good stuff, or it would have been a shut out. Hit three batters. We shouldn't complain, but I am complaining because I really wanted that shutout.

Tulane gave out very nice free Tulane baseball hats with the new logo to all in attendance. Today was hat day. Evey home game now has a promotion. Tomorrow they are giving free Tulane baseball cards to all in attendance. I have to compliment our concessions tonight they are now serving shrimp poboys on Friday nights during lent for just $6. What a deal on Leidenheimer French bread! They also had big bowls of seafood (crawfish and shrimp) Jambalaya for $7.
Congratulations to Corey Merrill for a great first win!

Corey Merrill finally gets run support and gets his first career win! He pitched great. He has an issue w/walks but tonight he didn't give up any walks. Great job. Two three run two out rally's . Gotta love that. Great night for the 200 or so of us who braved a cold night to root the wave on.

Kudos to Tulane and a note to those that say posting here doesn't accomplish anything. Last week I pointed out that the line-ups and standings are now posted on video screens and that they rolled them over too quickly causing fans to have to wait multiple cycles to get the line-ups. I suggested longer displays and they have made that change. Thanks.

I caught the tail end of the SLU-LSU game last night on the SEC network, and attendance there was awful. That was at Alex Box. LSU is #2 and the perrenial attendance leaders, and virtually no one in the stands.

Terrible first inning by the Wave. Creighton put up four. Wave did get one back. The second was scoreless. Third inning just started. Wave down 4-1.

Hunter Willams got spiked by a Creighton player, and then pushed the player and got ejected.
