Our last bowl game. A bitter sweet time for my family but just thought it was worth remembering. We were there!!

Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say
On a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day
That's the island greeting that we send to you
From the land where palm trees sway
Here we know that Christmas will be green and bright
The sun to shine by day and all the stars at night
Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii's way
To say "Merry Christmas to you."

Great fun. Lynaris Elpheage was great in that game. I still have a football signed by most of the guys on that team.

Thought we had turned the corner after that game or were very close, then came Cowen and his assinine review. Why is he still President?

I also had thought that Scelfo had "turned the corner" with the program after this bowl championship. It was only the high point of his years here. And, then, "the review" came, and we all started to get depressed. Only massive alumni e-mails and $$$ commitments kept football going. We seriously pressured Cowen to keep it alive. I just wish that the TU alumni and friends had kept that pressure up and found a way to force Cowen out of here.

There has been absolutely no progress since then, and, really, REGRESSION has been the norm.
It feels like the "Buddy (Teevens) System" around here again. Hey, I liked Buddy, but the guy could not win around here with the players that he had. He was no better at Stanford.

Man, does this football program need a jump start again in the worse way. Who can do this for us?
