UCONN will lose a bunch of their key players. The players on current rosters were recruited to the BE. Hopefully UCONN's 2 NC's will help keep good players interested in going to AAC schools.

In football UCF will take a step back but hopefully just a small one. Have to hope Tuberville can keep Cincy on an upward trend. ECU is solid usually but never seems to take that next step. It will be interesting to see what happens w/Houston. Temple was young but looked like they were close when I saw them. Taggart will probably get USF back up in short order. UCONN has shown they can do well and they have a new coach that looks like a good hire. Some people like Memphis' coach so we'll see. Tulsa looks like it's going down. I think Jones will be gone soon at SMU . Then we have to show that last year wasn't just b/c of the schedule.

Baseball looks to be ok. Houston has really stepped it up. ECU will be competitive. UCF has a good coach and will be consistently good. USF should step up. UCONN had some recent success so we'll see w/them. Memphis has improved but can they take that next step. Cincy is so-so. We are in the tank and the future is not bright.

Have to love this commissioner. He says all the right things publicly. Hopefully he has the stroke to impose his will on all of the schools.

Looking forward to July 1,2014.
UCONN has 4 national championships in Men's basketball, all in the last 16 years. That makes them tied for 5th all-time. They've made the Final Four 5 times, tied for 9th all time in # of Final Four appearances. As far as losing their key players goes, Shabaz Napier is the only senior that started most games. As they showed in the tournament, the team is deep, though Napier was clearly their leader. Boatwright really stepped up in the Tourney, hopefully he'll take the baton from Napier.
