The conference tournament should not be considered post-season or making the post season. There's nothing wrong with saying that. Someone asked in a different post how we should measure ourselves, if we consider making the conference tourney a success that's embarassing.

How about all those NCAA tournament appearances lately by the men's basketball team? How about all those regional and college world series appearances since 2008? Oh wait, those things do not happen when you are bottom feeders in EVERY main men's sports. If this regime at Tulane remains in place, it will only get worse!

I would have to say football would be the sport that the administration has "ruined", for lack of a better word.

I know that the previous 2 basketball hires have not worked out but that happens in many programs. And yes, I know that Rick Dickson made those hires but MANY athletic directors make bad hires.

Baseball stands strictly on its on merits. Nothing has been done, in my opinion, by the university to hinder this program. It is all on the field with these guys,

With football, there are very few D1 Universities that would take or not take the steps this administration has. That lack of improvement/winning, etc. should be placed SQUARELY at the feet of the Administration.

Success in basketball and baseball would diminish our disappointment with football, IMO.
