I know the injuries seem decimating but if we get thru the next 2 weeks help is on the way. Byo will be back by then. Ponder will be done w/football and has been flashing some good stuff. Gunner has had good velocity but his location has been poor. With more innings he'll get that under control. Garner is starting to look better and deserving of more innings.

As for Byo the plan is to get a few innings in this weekend and then start him next weekendas per RJ's pre-game interview. That would be a panic move. He needs to get a couple of innings this weekend. Then a couple mid-week and a few more next weekend and then start him.

A weekend rotation of Flynn, Z, and Byo would be more than solid. You would have Garner, Ponder, Gunner, Napoli and Facundus in relief. Wholestaff mid-week. We'll have pitching for the stretch run. The question will be about hitting and defense. They are awful right now and we need dramatic improvement in both.
