I can pick it up within my house (which is much harder than from the car).
I live on the west side of Metairie, almost to Kenner.

Our AD has contracted two hamsters to generate power with their wired wheel apparatus to broadcast our games! Try living out of town and getting a clear broadcast. It's really a shame what these a holes have created. I do believe that cj will get us out of the hole. Winning will get us a better media attention, not our decision makers

fyi
I was a USCG radioman stationed in Belle Chase in the 60's.
The radio voice communication was strong enough for us to talk to Radio Honolulu in the middle of the night , and other places equally different.
HAM sets could be built for long distance reception , especially over 250-350 miles.
