See that they are ranked!. So, how do we do? I think this is an important weekend as we need to take 2 of 3. Have SLU and Alcorn State then UNO for three then Nicholls State before conference begins. A chance to really get some wins:

I am looking for:

2 wins from Wichita State
1 win from SLU
1 win from Alcorn State
3 wins from UNO
1 win from Nicholls State

Look for a record of 17-4 going into conference play.

Tulane is going to have difficulties now in baseball since the transfer rule prevents Jones getting from lateral moves from other teams. Cowen has never come through in his promises made after 2001 to Jones in helping with academic scholarships to close the gap in the cost for a lot pf players who cant "pay and play".

So here we are: Cowen's Tulane model has placed Tulane football and basketball in last place this school year in CUSA, and now baseball in the midest of its multi-year decline as well.

It's Policy folks. You acnt win if you don't have the palyers, because everyone we play is trying to win the the National Championship while Emporer Cowen just wants mediocrity. Meanwhile the school's relative academic presitige is sinking.

Cowen is the worst Tulane President since Rufus Harris.

We should sweep. This is a team that is ranked clearly based on their history. They have swept Niagra and North Dakota. Their two losses came when they were swept by UT-Arlington in a tourney last weekend .hey have played no one. We should own them. Let's climb in the rankings.
