According to this its possible we might be adding Old Dominion to our already miserable schedule next year.

Well then let's give dominion a good ole D1 welcome. And by that I mean let's pound them into the ground. Let's jam them and jam them until there's nothing left to be jammed.

With the improvement we expect to have, it MAY be possible next year. That being said, if ODU played our beloved Green Wave at, say Thanksgiving of last year, I'm pretty sure they would have been giving the Wave a big ole welcome to D1AA. If I'm not mistaken, they lost, on the road, to eventual national champions (Georgia Southern) by a score of 55-49. If Tulane goes 2-11 again this year, they'll be circling the Tulane game on the calendar.

I don't know how true this is, but I was told that an in-state FCS school will be added.

It would be typical Dickson, so it's probably true.

Dumb down those schedules, Rick Dickson.

To add an FCS school to ULM and S.Alabama would be absolutely ridiculous.

Burn him at the stake if he does that. It's up to CJ to stop that.

DICKson was tring to get a game with Virginia college. The one on t v He found out that they didn't have a team but kept trying to schedule them anyway. If that doesn't work he will try gretna community college but will market the game as The Yat Bowel.

You better get ready. South Alabama and ULM are set to play in the dome against the Wave.

And the 2014 schedule will kickoff against FCS Southeastern.

LSU is opening the 2013 against TCU in the Jerry Jones Classic. Forget about LSU vs Tulane in the Dome. Tricky Rick can schedule another Sun Belt team.

2014 out-of-conference schedule according to wiki:

SeLa
@Duke
Ga Tech
@Rutgers

Not spectacular but at least some brand name schools.

Duke, gtech, and Rutgers are acceptable, we have to stop playing SLU. It would be alot better if that game was Ole Miss, Miss St, Vandy, etc.

It would and it would also be better if we thought we could beat those teams.

Whether you think you can beat them or not, you only get better by playing better opponents.

I'm not disagreeing with that, just saying it sucks that we're so bad right now that we might have trouble competing with the lesser SEC teams. Even Scelfo beat miss st. a couple times.

Got ya. But... we're getting our asses handed to us by weaker teams, so we might as well play better ones and make some money while doing so.

If we were playing better teams in front of better crowds our recruiting might be better, and we might win a few of these games.

Not if your talent level is not up to par. You only get you tail kicked by better opponents and lose confidence. The loss of confidence only makes you fall apart to the Rice's and UAB's of the world. I just hope CJ brings in all of the "beast" he is saying that he has on the way. We are expected to be ranked pretty high for the 2013 class.

I would much rather play against a weak Sun Belt team or MWC team before a FCS program. Now, I have no problem with playing a FCS school every now and then, but I think we need to play a FCS school who is known for winning seasons, FBS upsets or conferance championships.
