Great crowd, best since I was a kid in the Perry Clark days. We played terrible the first half, but adjusted the 2nd. Like many teams across the country, we are one big guy away from being something really special. With Memphis losing tonight and us being better than what I thought in conference play, it will be interesting to see how this conference and season unfolds.

The two major powers coming into this season both have dropped. No one is looking unbeatable. The students are starting to come to the games.

This season still has a lot of potential for something big. I'm excited to see how the team rebounds.

Those are two good posts to read. I hope it continues.

I figured UTEP might be a tough one. Like him or not, Tim Floyd can coach.

Great atmosphere at the game! Best crowd since the Perry Clark days. We just ran into a hot UTEP team. Culpepper in the first half was unbelievable. Tulane fought back in the second half and showed that they are a team to be reckoned with. ROLL WAVE!!!

Not disappointed at all; Sluggish first half, No. 3 killed us with 22 pts. in first half. He matched Tulane's total output.
Much better second half, #3 had only 4 pts. 32 for Utep was 6' 11" and 280 lbs. He made a big difference under the basket.
We need someone like that.

All of this being said, without #3's performance, we win.

Good, loud exciting crowd AND KING CAKE GIVE - A - WAYS!!
