I remember hearing about that, maybe even getting something in the mail. Curious... where did that money go?

Good question, unfortunately I don't have an answer for you. I did read on another board that we'd be pissed if we found out where it went though.

On a related note, I actually got a request for a TAF donation in the mail today. You guys may have as well. I'm sure all those envelopes will be returned stuffed with cash.

They should have saved themselves the cost of postage and envelopes.

Added on edit: didn't mean to derail. As far as the Excellence Fund, I heard those monies were used for a non-football purpose but I heard it only as a rumor.

One thing we don't need is Tulane keeping anymore secrets about what they are doing with solicited donations, especially if they are for football.

I returned the envelope with a note instead of cash expressing my dissappointment in teh President, BOA, AD and head football coach.
