If it keeps going this way. I think we were supposed to start at 7:30pm, but you have to assume 30 minutes after this game, and if this game lasts 3 1/2 hours that would mean at least 8:30 if not later. This is the downside to playing the last game on the first day. If you lose, you are playing late in the evening, and then you have to turn right around and play again tomorrow.

Definitely off on the start time there. Now more likely to start between 8:30-9:00 CT.winwave wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 12:10 pm We play UCF Tuesday night. The game will probably start between 7 and 7:30. Tough opening game. UCF beat us 2 out of 3 at Turchin. It can be watched on the AAC site. Roper will start on four days rest. He threw 57 pitches on Thursday so he should be good to go.

Fortunately there are only two games tomorrow so we'd likely start at 6 or later. Hopefully we won't be playing till Thursday. Plus we won't be playing in the heat with the late game.RobertM320 wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2019 4:53 pm If it keeps going this way. True. However, they did just mention at 6:30 EDT that the temp is 93 degrees.

They just mentioned that the first game tomorrow is at 3pm EDT, and that is Houston vs ECU. So we're good regardless. Still hope we can not have to play until Thursday.

Why does the AAC keep playing the conference tournament in Clearwater in front of a sea of empty seats? Watching the Memphis vs Cincinatti game they can’t have more than 100 people in the stands. The lack of attendance seems to be an issue every year they have the tournament in Clearwater, which has been several consecutive years now. Give someone else a chance to host the tournament.

They have it in Clearwater because in addition to empty bleachers, in Clearwater you have a better chance of thunderstorms and rainouts.Sunamiwave wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2019 6:58 pm Why does the AAC keep playing the conference tournament in Clearwater in front of a sea of empty seats? The AAC admin has failed miserably promoting this tourney. I had to go through a few pages to get a live feed. They have a staff of 12+ what the hell are they doing.

Ya u have to expand this on you tube. Must be a bother for many fans
Only 15 “ya knows” for TJ’s pregame interview. Things really looking up.
In all seriousness, this game is huge. Might have an off chance to win this thing with ECU losing. Is that a good thing, I guess.

Tulane beats UCF 5-2. Great performance by Roper. Threw a complete game and over 130 pitches!
We'll play Cincy around 6 on Thursday.

I must admit, with the ball jumping out like it was and the score 5-2 after only two innings, I'm shocked that there was no scoring the rest of the game. Heroic job by Roper. He knew it could very well be his last appearance, and he gave us everything. Gotta be proud of that performance.

Do we ask providence to shine on us a bit more and pull for Houston this afternoon? Would be great to see ECU gone. Sure would like to see both teams have to go to pen a lot and waste up their arms on a Wed, when they might still have to play on Fri, two on Sat, and a game on Sun. Six games in 5 days.
