After losing its series playing at home this weekend to Appalachian State, ULALA is now 11-14 with a Warren Nolan RPI of 134. After this weekend, our Nolan RPI remains at 89.

I'm surprised that UL-L is not better. Three and four years ago they had very highly ranked classes. Anyone know if they've been bitten by the pro draft? Just not developed as expected? Or simple attrition?

the Umps will not allow Tulane to win this game....I look for Tulane to 'walk" about 10 to 12 batters this evening.....

If Tulane loses it is 110% on Jewett. Undisciplined coaching breeds undisciplined play. Game turned on combo of Neimann inexplicably throwing down to third and Jewett refusing to sac bunt.

ULL walk off Hr bot 9th 7-6 Cajuns win. 4 hour game. Long bus trip home. Bad loss.

The sky isn't falling. We're not a better or worse team than we were before the game, and Coach Jewitt is no better or worse than he was before last nights game. The ups and downs of the baseball fan base is as bad or worse than football, where they were calling for Coach Fritz's job midway through the season.

Team hits better than last and pitches better( but still average at best). Real season starts this weekend.

We can’t afford any more bad losses. We have 0 quality series wins. We will need to finish in the top 3 with a 50 RPI or better otherwise we’ll won’t get a bid unless we of course win the AAC tournament auto bid. We need to win the ECU and UCONN series’s.

Agree totally. Might be a 2 bid league and after seeing UCF get swept it is imperative we take the series against Cinci & WSU.
