Firing an assistant would have not solved the problem. I’ve said it recently to other Tulane fans that we did not have the athleticism to compete in the AAC. We were more suited to finish in the middle or lower end of the Southland IMO. I’m glad Troy recognized this fact as well. Ray O would have meant 3-4 more wins. So instead of 4 wins we would have won 7-8 games.

Agree. I said all season we didn't have the talent nor the coaching and specifically cited our lack of athleticism.

This is why I don't care about this guy. It's a results driven business. Shut-up and take your buyout. You were a terrible recruiter and your teams got worse every year which is a direct reflection on your ability to coach.
