Yup, TD may have to fall on his sword. He is in a tough place IMO. Change is needed but the budget is a mess.

How bad do we think the buyout is ?
Andy Kennedy was getting a little over $2 before parting ways with ole miss. 2 time sec coach of the year built the ole miss program, took them to the ncaa tourney twice and once to the round of 32, and many times deep in the nit. He would be an interesting hire. He knows miss & Alabama well

It’s a shame that Dunleavy is such a narcissist to think he should still be coaching this four win and zero conference win team. If Dunleavy had any integrity, he would have resigned midway through the season and let his top assistant coach Doug Stewart take over the team. If Coach Stewart had done a good job and managed even a small turn around from the Dunleavy era he would have been in serious consideration for the top job on a permanent basis. Because Dunleavy refused to do the right thing we will have no choice but to fire Coach Stewart when Coach Dunleavy gets fired either this year or next. It is a shame because I would have liked to have seen what Coach Stewart could have done as the interim head coach this season. Dunleavy’s refusal to resign earlier this season screwed over Coach Stewart from getting a shot at the head coaching job.

Let's see what happens during/after the tournament.Sunamiwave wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 4:10 pm It’s a shame that Dunleavy is such a narcissist to think he should still be coaching this four win and zero conference win team. As a result of Dunleavy’s selfishness in dragging this out we will no longer be able to give Coach Stewart a shot at the top job.
If players start defecting, he might give up.

Just to be accurate he was SEC coach of the year once. He won two West Division titles and one SEC tourney title. His overall conference record was a little over .500. Much better than MDBicoastalwave wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 3:46 pm How bad do we think the buyout is ?
