Need to play two tomorrow otherwise we’ll only play one. LSU has moved up its starting time to 4pm. Our weekend series with Ole Miss could be impacted as well. I’ve been told that tickets to the series are nearing a sellout. Hopefully we can get all 3 games in.

I hear ya. We had great weather this past weekend. Wish we could get the same for this coming weekend but it's not looking good.

Tulane started the season with a series sweep for the second consecutive year.

They looked like a solid club tonight. I hope it continues.

Very encouraging performance by Bates. He wasn't talked up by the staff. He has really good stuff but was a poster child for our control issues. Hopefully this proves to be a great job by Latham reaching the kid. I know it's not a good opponent but the control was there for him. Price also did well. He's never been able to be consistently good. Maybe this year will be different for him too. I believe Haskin will prove to be very good. Glad to see him getting in there this early.

Starting to look forward to this season. Ole Miss will be the real test but they are handling business.

Played and pitched well. We are an improved team at this stage. Hopefully it continues throughout the year and tonight weather permitting. LSU postponed its game tonight yesterday.

Ole Miss cancelled yesterday’s game but rescheduled for today. Not sure if they will get it in.

The Wave began last season sweeping Wright State at Turchin and then for the next weekend, we were swept by Ole Miss at Oxford. And then, coming back to New Orleans we took 2 weekday games from Lamar. After that, 2018 turned into another TJ disaster.

So, Ole Miss this weekend should be a good test for where we are for the 2019 baseball Wave.

Ole Miss is picked to come in second in the West. They did however lose all of their weekend starters. So it will be interesting to see what we can do against them.

Tulane wins 22-10. Hoese hit three homers. Trent Johnson pitched two really good innings. Bring on the Rebs.

Still early for that. Lamar is a team that we dominated last year and GW is not good either.

Very true but nonetheless, a great and encouraging start to the season.
