Kudos to Tulane for having a baseball fan day. It was well attended and a blast. Fans got to take live BP and dunk head coach TJ. The entire team scrimmaged prior and signed posters after. Really looking forward to a successful baseball season. The great weather was also a plus!

My two kids (5 & 6) are really looking forward to visiting NOLA for some Baseball. They had an awesome time at the Navy football game (thanks in large part to a very family friendly event put on by Tulane- kudos to the cheerleaders for being so very kid friendly) and have been practicing the Hullaballoo non-stop. I am excited about this season, the next football season, and the announcement of the identity of our new basketball coach.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather. Congratulations to the Tulane Athletic staff for taking a giant risk to sponsor an outdoor event in February. They could have taken the safe way and held The First Pitch Dinner like in years past, but it would have been attended by adult backers who could afford a $100 ticket
Today’s event was open to all Tulane fans for free and attended by many young fans who got to meet and speak to the players and coaches. This is the way you build a fan base
Kudos to the marketing staff for developing the poster with a pic of every player and coach. The line to have the poster autographed was long and again filled with youngsters who will hang it up in their bedrooms
The scrimmage was a mixture of good pitching and timely hitting which should give our fan base a glimpse of things to come this year
Thanks to Troy Dannen for adding a little sp(ice) to the dunk tank.

The season gets started Friday the 15th

Let’s PLAY BALL

Well done! Let's hope the season starts as brightly as yesterday's event shined.

Let's now hope, they can hit some HR's, off opposing Pitching
