Too nervous to pick. Hoping the pre game flyover doesn't freak the landlubbers from Tulane.

I haven’t made any predictions this year so this will be my one and only.

31-17 Tulane.

Very similar to last year. Win and a bowl is there for the taking.
I’ve never known Tulane to win this type of game. Hence my “Show Me” username. Until Tulane shows me I’m still not a believer.

Let's go through the checklist (amazing the similarities to last year)
x Blow out a FCS team
x Get blown out by a P5 powerhouse
x Lose on the road to a CUSA team in which you're favored
x Have everyone jump off the wagon after the Cincy game
x Get a surprise home conference win
x Have everyone jump back on the wagon
x Squeak by a really bad ECU team
x Enter the final game with chance for bowl eligibility.

I'm predicting 38-34 Navy and we'll all be printing "McMilan was in" tshirts as he's controversially stopped on the 1/2 yard line as time expires. The Football Gods would want it that way.

You forgot to add: x get a surprising road conference win (USF)

I too have bad vibes about this game. Our offense is stalled once again, as we beat our head against the tackle to tackle wall, and the Navy option grinds our D down. But it won’t come down to one inch in the last second.

Tulane win 38-35.

Based on Tulane winning a share of the West Division Championship WF is given a 10 year extension at $10 million a year fully guaranteed. Ed Daniels dies happy.

Happy to finally see Tulane “show me”. Wasn’t a pretty but it was a win. Still doesn’t feel like we earned a bowl this season. Way too many bad losses. Justin McMillan was a Godsend. He turned the 2-5 ship around with a 4-1 finish. Thank You LSU!!!!
Roll Wave! Texas bowl trip would be well attended I believe.

What bad losses? Every team we lost to, except maybe SMU is bowl eligible. Yes, we should have won the SMU game, and could have won WF and Houston, but we're not more talented than any of those teams. A bad loss would be - last years Cincy or FIU game, 2016's Tulsa game, or 2015's UConn game. Those are bad losses.

More to the example: The Pelicans lost by one to the 76ers on the road. They played poorly, but its not a "bad loss". Losing on the road to the Knicks last night by 5 is a "bad loss".

UAB and SMU come to mind. Never should lose to a CUSA team. Yes they are bowl eligible but Texas A&M did what we should have done to them.
