For those who didn't know, the final score was 71-46 vs Nicholls State.

Lisa has the Lady Wave playing well, now 11-3. They opened the conference season with a blowout win over ECU Saturday.

It was a nice win over ECU but what a disaster at that program. Eight-year coach Heather Macy resigned at the beginning of the season over something dealing with a "misunderstanding" over practice time. Then, the interim coach resigned in December over health issues.

I hope they are getting some measure of support by decent attendance
numbers. Great job this year by Coach and the ladies!

Win 66-57! Women are 11-3 for the year and 2-0 for the conference. First win at Temple since we've been in the AAC.

WBB are rockin'! #RollWave

Wave women are actually 12-3 now. I urge everyone to get out to the UConn game next Wednesday night. Chair backs are available only on the secondary market now. Going to be a great night!!

Should be a sell out, UConn is the standard in WBB but are beatable this year if you have enough size and speed. In their loss to Baylor they were outscored in the paint by a huge margin and had trouble getting clean outside shots due to the Bears defense and height.

Vs UCONN tonight. Probably the biggest crowd this year at Fogelman including the MBB.
Big opportunity to do something special.
Good Luck Lisa, Allen, staff and team!

See you there!

+ 1,000,000

This is an opportunity for the program. They came close a couple of years ago against a better UConn team. Let's hope they can do something really special tonight, and have ESPN wondering "What's wrong with UConn?"

ESPN3 shows the game starts at 5pm?.??? Hopefully that's just a mistake that won't screw up the telecast.

Anyone getting a game feed via ESPN3? I'm getting nothing.

I'm watching on SNY, a local cable station that is the home of the NY Mets and UConn basketball. Since it is available on SNY, it's blacked out on ESPN3 or watch ESPN in CT.

Unfortunately I have the UConn announcers, who say nothing about the no-foul-calls when UConn commits and obvious foul. We're getting outplayed, and the Huskies have their D playing with intensity not close to being matched by the Wave, but we're also victims of referees that seem star struck by UConn. We're getting homered in our own gym!

But UConn, which has been sloppy lately, is playing with a whole lot more passion and intensity than they have since before the holidays.

I hope the Lady Wave can win the second half.

Great crowd near capacity. The girls just couldn’t buy a shot tonight. I think they shot 18% from the field which means they missed 82% of their attempts. No way on earth can you beat UCONN shooting that poorly. UCONN’s leading scorer (Megan Walker) had 34pts and Tulane as a team had 33pts. That just about sums it up.

That was a bad loss at 73-46. Especially when you take into account that USF is having a down year for themselves.

For sure. We’re once again looking at 3rd at best in the league if that. USF definitely has our number.

The scary part is that other than UCONN we haven't played anyone else in the upper half of the conference.

Yes but I think it’s more they own us vs others that may be ahead now. I think we’ll be ok.

Do they ever do these live or archived links for Men's BB also?

Any chance one of our OCC Men's FB games will be on Facebook for streaming next year like the UAB game last year?
