Spread opens USF 8 pts. > Wave (Rotation nos. 363-364 for Vegas Sheet). http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-foo ... las-vegas/
USF body of work (7-1, AAC 3-1) to date:
9/1 USF 34, Elon 14;
9/8 USF 48, Ga. Tech 38;
9/15 USF 25, Illinois 19;
9/22 USF 20, E. Car. 13;
10/6 USF 58, UMASS 42;
10/12 USF 25, Tulsa 24;
10/20 USF 39, UCONN 30;
10/27 Houston 57, USF 36
We lost to USF @ Yulman on 10/21 last season 34 to 28. For their last 4 games USF seems to be running out of juice? After all, UMASS put up 42 on these guys, they beat Tulsa by only one point, a terrible UCONN team scored 30 and Houston blew USF out yesterday 57 to 36. Let’s hope this trend continues for Saturday.
And, by the way, ‘Bama opens a 14.5 pt. favorite over LSWho.

I think Houston just showed how weak USF's schedule has been. ECU, UMass, Tulsa and UConn are all worse than us, and they won by 7, 16, 1 and 9. They gave up 30 points to a terrible UConn offense. In fact, if you go by Massey ratings, we'll be the third best team they've faced all season.Wave755 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 3:29 pm Spread opens USF 9 pts. > Wave (Rotation nos. 363-364 for Vegas Sheet).

+1, Sagarin has only Ga.Tech and Houston for their schedule ranked above us. Their only quality win was 48 to 38 over Ga. Tech way back on 9/8. By Sagarin’s formula with a 2.43 pt. advantage for home field USF is only a 6.67 pt. favorite for Saturday.RobertM320 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 4:27 pmI think Houston just showed how weak USF's schedule has been. We aren’t going to beat UH at Houston. This USF game is THE GAME that we have to win to breath any life into this season. Lose this, and we’re done for 2018. Win it, and we restore control over our destiny with the ECU and Navy games still on our schedule. This is a winnable game.
Tulane is the University of Louisiana
+1. This is most certainly a winnable game. Another team with a bad defense.HoustonWave wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 5:19 pm We aren’t going to beat UH at Houston. +1 This is why I pointed it out. They may be 7-1, but they're not light years better than us. Same as UAB, who is also 7-1winwave wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 7:28 pm+1. O/U 58.5
Hoping we have more defense than they do, I don't think we can win a shoot out. Last year they beat us 34 to 28 at Yulman.

OK, ESPN gives us a 32.9% chance of winning. http://www.espn.com/college-football/ga ... /401019521 And yes, ESPN GameDay is a Nate Silver production, the same guy who gave Donald Trump a 28% chance of winning the Whitehouse.

Shawn King was almost too nice, another score and we would have won. If we can have sustained drives on Saturday taking a lot of time off of the clock, we have a chance.wave97 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 31, 2018 4:13 pmUSF was very gracious to is in the second half last year. Guys it's Shaun. Also he had nothing to do with taking the foot off the pedal. He's the RB's coach the last two years.

I'm tempted to open an online wagering account as this line shrinks. I hate to bet against, and never root against Tulane, but 6 is too few points, IMHO. We're playing a QB with very little experience, and playing against a team that can put up points as easily as anyone we've faced. We stink on the road. I want our Green Wave to win, but it's tempting to lay the points.

Somebody cleaned up. ESPN had us the “lock of the day.” Good call there.

It seemed like both USF -6 and over 61 would be locks in this game. Neither was right.
