How does Dauphine not have more touches?
Bradwell: 5.9 yards per att, 562 total yards, 91 attempts
Dauphine: 9.0 yards per att, 419 total yards, 46 attempts
Huderson: 3.9 yards per att, 179 total yards, 45 attempts
Has he been hurt? if not, this is frustrating.
Corey Dauphine?

He was dinged up to start the year, and had cramps that prevented him from more touches in his best game, which was one of the best ypc games a Tulane running back has ever had.

One of the great mysteries in Tulane football history. I’m going to presume that nothing is wrong with him unless Willie and his boys specifically state so. So far there have just been vague innuendos about conditioning, injuries, ability to block, mental preparedness—who knows. But it’s shocking that he doesn’t get more carries, and equally shocking that Fritz and Ruse don’t design plays to get Dauphine the ball in space. Can you imagine what Kendal Briles would do with Dauphine?

Apparently he doesn’t know the plays like he should. But he’s going to play more this weekend.

The big thing for Corey is that when he is locked in and knows what he's doing, he's one heck of a football player. We just have to do a better job of getting him to be assignment sound on everything we're doing."

As though the rest of our team is "assignment sound"? If Dauphine has trouble blocking, give him the damn ball and let him run, or let him slide into the flat for an outlet pass. Fritz and his staff seem to have zero ability to figure out how to best use the abilities that our players have. They just stick to their canned and predictable plays, and seem to ignore formations and plays that take advantage of what our players can do. Unbelievably frustrating.tpstulane wrote: ↑Fri Oct 26, 2018 7:35 am Apparently he doesn’t know the plays like he should. But he’s going to play more this weekend.
