You may be a Tulane fan if:
  • You hardly ever win games on the road
  • When you go to a home game, you're the only person wearing your team's colors
  • Sporting goods stores carry none of your team's apparel
  • Your season ticket prices increase even if your W-L record doesn't
  • When you are sent to central lockup wearing Tulane colors, none of the other prisoners will talk to you

I’m sure that I’m not interpreting this post as intended, but this is really funny.

Tulane gives out Off Bug Spray as a gift to all season ticket holders who choose to renew and pay the seat tax during the “Off” weak but most fans decide to just bug off.

And Scott Cowen will claim that beating OFF is what college athletics should be about.

Meanwhile, the $15-20 million dollar deficits he ran up his last few years as President of OUR University have still not been explained. Funny how that amount would have been covered had he not circle jerked us out of any chance at BCS/P5 conference invite. How much money does TCU rake every year from the Big 12?

Probably $35MM to $40MM per year, not counting ticket revenue and concessions from their home games. And on top of that, I'd love to know how much more they are getting each year in alumni and fan contributions, compared to what they received prior to their football success. Cowen and is backers just couldn't see where the collegiate athletic world was going. They just didn't have the intellectual capacity to keep up with the leadership of other schools, like TCU.
