Tulane is going to sneak past SMU in two weeks. They aren't actually getting anywhere, but they're just competitive enough to not get WF fired.
Willy isn't getting fired because our dickhead AD gave him an extension after 2 losing seasons
The extension isn't a problem if the buyout is reasonable. If they can't generate revenue then they HAVE to act.

Cincy aren't a convincing 6-0 team. Tulane has done everything wrong and this scoreline doesn't show it. 37-21.

Out coached, out played, and out scored. But at the end of the semester, we’ll hear about how many players made the Dean’s List.

It won't matter even if we come back and get to 6 wins against the low hanging fruit. Nothing accomplished that will draw any interest.

You can win with good kids that show up to class.

Thank goodness we have Howard for next year. He's a very capable runner. He has an arm but he needs to work on his accuracy.

Five points a quarter won't cut it.

But we’re not. It’s meaningless to lose with good kids that go to class. I don’t care what they do off the field, just like I don’t care if a liberal arts student can run a 4.4 and bench 400 lbs.

About what I predicted. Cinci has better players & a better offensive scheme. McMillan will get better. He's used to blockers that can block and receivers that can catch. We won't face a better defense after today. 2 weeks to get healthy before playing 2 winnable opponents, SMU & Tulsa.

Need more athletes who happen to be students, not the other way around. Cinci was #1 last year in our conference recruiting and #2 in Fickel 1st year. We were not in the top 5 either year.

Fritz was #3 in the AAC this season.

The problem is that the players are running a JV offense. We have real talent that we make look stupid.

The OC should be canned. He's done nothing to deserve a third year.

Hard to find four more wins on the schedule when you got no OL, got no starting QB, got no receivers, and got no offensive scheme and no ability to adjust to game developments.

Cincy isn't some overwhelmingly talented team. As I posted in the other thread an oppsosing AAC coach didn't think they had al that much. Plus even if your at the top of AAC recruiting it's just not all that. You can just see the difference in the way the teams are coached. Cincy don't beat Cincy. Wave beats the Wave.

I was using Rivals site for rankings but you're right we do run a JV scheme. It almost appeared on the surface, we got out of JV offense when McMillan came in.

Under WF we have now played 15 away games. We have won three - UMass & UCONN 2016 & E. Carolina 2017.

WF for present has a road winning percentage of 20%.

It’s time for him to go.

This year, the AAC West is crap, Wake and UAB aren’t that tough, and Fritz doesn’t appear to be able to capitalize on year 3 of his tenure. Odds are, the AAC West won’t be this crappy again in the near future.

To be honest, I'm tired of getting into arguments with other Tulane fans because the team sucks.

Cincy has 3 turnovers and still won the Wave didn’t beat themselves today. They are just bad.
Cincy tried its best to beat itself but failed.
We drop balls every week and we get dumb penalties every game. That’s who we are. We’re not a good road football team at this point.
Be proactive, being reactive is for losers..

JV offense is charitable. JV high school maybe. I honestly think Tulane has the talent to be better on offense with a good scheme. I don’t think the coaches bring much to the table in the way of intellect. I don’t think the coaches can run a more complex scheme.

132 yards rushing, a 100 fewer yards rushing than Ohio U. :shakingno:
