I agree. MCM isn’t getting it done today. His long passes are like punts, up for grabs. I guess he’s used to receivers who can go up and get it. Is Banks hurt?

Since we've gone to the passing offense, our offense SUCKS! Please put Banks in and run our offense while the game is still within reach. This trying to be a passing offense with a QB that's played almost one whole game of NCAA football isn't working. Wake up, smell the coffee, McMillan isn't going to get it done. There's over a full quarter yet to play and our coaching staff is putting the game in the hands of a QB that clearly is NOT getting it done.

Banks wasn't either. This team doesn't have a #1 QB.DfromCT wrote: ↑Sat Oct 06, 2018 1:38 pm Since we've gone to the passing offense, our offense SUCKS! Banks knows the offense. His receivers dropped a number of passes last week and a few this week as well. McMillan has been all or nothing and hasn't adjusted to the speed of the game. Clearly Banks is the better QB at this point in time. McMillan should be benched for the rest of the game. Unless we want to see him go 4 for 40 passing, because he's on pace to do so.oliveandblue wrote: ↑Sat Oct 06, 2018 1:40 pmBanks wasn't either. Because our coaching staff sucks. Our line sucks. We can't come out trying to run the ball up the gut against a team that is strong against that. Should have started balanced just like last week. Throwing out in the flat, throwing to RB's and TE's in order to get our running game going by loosening up the D. Yet we revert to the same stupid thinking of just run the ball up the middle. BEYOND FUCKING STUPID. No idea how to use a player like Dauphine. Then our defensive backfield is pitiful. The score should be so much worse if their young QB doesn't overthrow several wide open guys deep. Then of course the ST's fuck up.
Bottom line we are a poorly coached team, undisciplined, below average talent and no idea how to use what few talented players we have.
McMillan has too big of a windup and sails the ball. Banks is the better passer and runner. His ad lib running is a huge weapon behind this piss poor excuse for an O-Line. He's far from perfect but he gives a chance.

We’re beyond bad. No execution. Clearly our players have little respect for, or fear of, Willie and his staff. Now we’re running up the white flag.

Their QB can sure read the “give or keep”. And when he keeps it he can run.

At that stage of the game with that score at that part of the field you HAVE to go for it. He just quit. Plus they scored anyway.oliveandblue wrote: ↑Sat Oct 06, 2018 1:59 pmI don't see how they're getting 12 yards. Our best offense is the defense running back turnovers.

Here's the tease.
Tulane is going to sneak past SMU in two weeks. They aren't actually getting anywhere, but they're just competitive enough to not get WF fired.

When we get the ball, we’ll probably go into victory formation

Willy isn't getting fired because our dickhead AD gave him an extension after 2 losing seasonsoliveandblue wrote: ↑Sat Oct 06, 2018 2:07 pm Here's the tease.
