I picked Cincy as a loss in my yearly forecast so I’ll stick with that. Road woes continue..,
Cincy 31
Tulane 27
Cincinnati Prediction Thread
We didn't play Cincy in 2015 or 2016. They beat us last year 17 to 16 at Yulman. They won in 2014 at Yulman 38-14 but other than perhaps redshirts no one from either 2014 team will be playing on Saturday.
I know that. How is it we own them?
Be proactive, being reactive is for losers..

Tulane Class of 1981
Swampnik said that, I didn't? Buddy Teevens owned them but that was a very long time ago. For the years 1990 to 2000 we beat them 5 times in a row. http://www.winsipedia.com/tulane/vs/cincinnati Cincy has won the last 2 games. Hopefully on Saturday we can place a large down payment for the re-purchase of Cincy!tpstulane wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 11:59 amI know that. How is it we own them?

I am optimistic...I was going to predict 182 - 7.....but I think Tulane will show up for the first series of downs..... on a side note, I predict the "officials" will be involved in several questionable calls that will all go Cincy's way

Since Ohio U rushed for 234 yards against this outfit, if I were WF I am telling Bradwell, Dauphine and Huderson to not forget to bring their track shoes for this second trip to Ohio. And "Nut, I undrstand why you might be a bit cranky this season considering the play of your beloved UTSA Roadrunners.golfnut69 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 1:10 pmain't no "ray of sunshine'....it is, however, the "ray of reality"Wave755 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 12:52 pmDamn 'Nut, always a "ray of sunshine" for Green Wave football!
UTSA is 2-2 lost to two PEE 5's...and only has, if memory serves, 13 seniors on the roster.... a side note Anthony Scelfo is now a grad assistantWave755 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 1:27 pmSince Ohio U rushed for 234 yards against this outfit, if I were WF I am telling Bradwell, Dauphine and Huderson to not forget to bring their track shoes for this second trip to Ohio. Cincinnati trailed 21-0 early in the second quarter and despite a furious comeback needed a goal line stand in the last minute of play to hold on for victory in that game. Tulane needs to come out fired up as Ohio was (it's a MUCH bigger game for the Bobcats than the Bearcats) to have a chance. If we come out flat like we did at UAB, we're toast. And the Bearcats will not be taking Tulane lightly. My prediction will come later in the week as I'm too busy work wise on the road to do my due diligence.Wave755 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 1:27 pm

Cincinnati - 27
Tulane - 21
This one really is a toss up for me. If we can play like we did last week vs. Memphis, flip the score. We haven't handled success and playing competitively too well in the past.

True 'Nut, at least you can "celebrate" UTSA's "big wins" over Texas St. & UTEP.golfnut69 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 1:50 pmUTSA is 2-2 lost to two PEE 5's...and only has, if memory serves, 13 seniors on the roster.... a side note Anthony Scelfo is now a grad assistantWave755 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 1:27 pmSince Ohio U rushed for 234 yards against this outfit, if I were WF I am telling Bradwell, Dauphine and Huderson to not forget to bring their track shoes for this second trip to Ohio. a win, is a win, is a win.....they just look at the results column, and compare the W's to the L'sWave755 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 3:41 pmTrue 'Nut, at least you can "celebrate" UTSA's "big wins" over Texas St. I have to correct myself UTSA is 2-3 with L's to Arizona State, Kansas State and Baylor...wins over TX State ( home of the fightin' Armadillos) and UTEP...last I checked both Texas directional schools UTEP and UTSA beat Tulane

5 games into the season, and Tulane has yet to figure out a way to win close games.
I don't know what the final score will be, but I predict a Tulane loss.

May all of our wins be by large margins.Aberzombie1892 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 03, 2018 8:32 am 5 games into the season, and Tulane has yet to figure out a way to win close games.
